Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new leads and past clients in database rigorously maintain relations with clients prospecting for new business and follow up with leads in your pipeline  
  • Responding to inbound sales inquiries and outbound cold calling to set appointments for our sales consultants • prepare and deliver sales talks, reading from scripts that describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers
  • Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone in order to solicit sales for apmg services
  • Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted
  • Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals.
  • Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as telephone directories, events , magazine reply cards, and lists purchased from other organization
  • Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements.
  • Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations.
  • Accurately track and convey productivity and sales metrics to management and expect regular accountability meetings with Marketing manager
  • Become an expert on the evolving Addis Ababa real estate market, accurately present APMG unique value proposition to prospective clients and deftly handle and overcome objections

Education And Experience

BA degree in Business Administration, marketing or related fields with one to two years of expereince strongly preferred or diploma with equivalent work experience with prior sales experience (preferably in real estate industry)

Knowledge And Skills

  • Excellent phone skills: ability to set and close appointments over the phone. Prior experience in customer service preferred.
  • Enthusiastic and self-starting approach; tech-savvy, eager to learn in a relevant area of sales or real estate • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, friendly, and outgoing
  • Be naturally comfortable on the phone: willingness and ability to spend at least half the workday on the phone
  • Tech savvy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application, Google Apps and Social Media
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
