Role Overview

We are looking for an IT Manager who will be overseeing the development and management of the IT roadmap based on the adopted strategies and vision.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the maintenance of the IT Disaster Recovery Plan
  • Deliver and implement any changes to the IT infrastructure
  • Manage the maintenance of IT Security
  • Contribute to the implementation of  digital and mobile technology strategy
  • Delivery of all IT services (software and hardware)
  • SLA reporting
  • Risk Management
  • Review and implement improvements to the IT infrastructure and IT services
  • In depth technical knowledge across IT operations and infrastructure including Microsoft Windows operating system (both client and server), LAN infrastructure, storage, virtualisation, digital and mobile technologies, remote access technologies and IT security systems
  • Monitor and maintain Call Centre Solution
  • Create strong relationships with Ethio Telecom IT department and insure swift resolutions of service (M-BIRR) outings.
  • Work with Ethio Telecom to implement Floating IP for the data centers.
  • Set-up the data center and provide technical support
  • Align and execute strategies and ensure that each department receives the right level of support due from its colleagues. The IT Manager Works very closely with the Dublin Development Team, sales, marketing, and other departments.

Education And Experience

  • University Bachelor degree in Computer technology, software engineering or related field of study. Knowledge in networking routing and switching, Linux system is a plus. At least 8 years hands on work experience in IT Network  Administration or a similar role.
  • Have served 3 years in  Managerial or supervisory position
  • Have proficient knowledge in:
    • Windows XP and Windows 7,  Operating Systems
    • Networking, and PABX system
    • maintaining office computer equipment’s
    • Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects
    • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
    • Customers service skill

  • Fluency in written and oral English and Amharic is essential

  • Background in software development and program management an added advantage
